What To Expect

DAY 1: INTO THE HEART OF THE AMAZON

  • Our journey begins with a pick-up at FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta International Airport in Iquitos before noon.
  • We then proceed to Bellavista Nanay port pier to embark on a scenic voyage to the Amazon Rainforest.
  • Iquitos, Peru, serves as the gateway to the Amazon Rainforest, known as the “Lungs of the Earth.”
  • We board a speedboat along the Amazon River and observe the stunning convergence of the brown Amazon River with the dark waters of the Nanay River.
  • We take a short stop at La Isla de los Monos, a conservation initiative for endangered monkey species.
  • After a 60-minute boat ride, we arrive at the Lodge, check-in, and enjoy a delicious Amazonian cuisine lunch.
  • In the afternoon, we embark on a jungle hike into the Yanamono primary rainforest reserve, learning about medicinal plants, heliconia flowers, and giant trees while spotting various bird species and monkeys.
  • We return to the lodge to witness the mesmerizing Amazon Sunset.
  • At night, we take an exciting boat ride along a tributary of the Amazon River to experience the jungle at night, illuminated by the moon and stars.
  • Return to the Lodge for rest and prepare for the next day’s adventures.

DAY 2: SUNRISE OVER THE AMAZON & THRILLING ADVENTURES

  • Our day begins with a 4:30 AM excursion to witness a spectacular Amazonian Sunrise.
  • We then go bird watching to observe various species such as the Ringed Kingfisher, Black-Collared Hawk, and more.
  • Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and a brief rest.
  • Next, we visit an indigenous Yaguas community to learn about their lifestyle, fishing and farming techniques, and cultural traditions.
  • We return to the lodge for lunch.
  • In the afternoon, we set off on a Native Fishing Expedition to a tributary of the Amazon River, where guests can try their hand at traditional fishing methods, including fishing for piranhas.
  • During the fishing expedition, we will also have the opportunity to spot Pink River Dolphins.
  • Next, we head to Avatar Canopy Park, where we climb 35 meters high for breathtaking jungle views and experience the thrilling ZIPLINE adventure.
  • In the evening, an optional Night Hike is available to observe nocturnal jungle creatures like tree frogs, snakes, and night owls.
  • Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: EXPLORE AMAZON JUNGLE AND IQUITOS CITY TOUR

  • Start the day with breakfast followed by a Lupuna and Ceiba Walk, trekking through dense jungle paths to witness monumental Amazonian trees.
  • We then check out from the lodge and transfer back to Iquitos.
  • After checking into a hotel in Iquitos, we explore the city’s historical and cultural landmarks.
  • Visit Plaza de Armas, the main square of Iquitos, featuring the stunning Amazonas Theater.
  • Stop by the Cathedral of Iquitos, a remarkable Catholic church with beautiful stained-glass windows.
  • Explore the Museum of the Amazon (Museo de la Amazonía) to learn about the region’s biodiversity and indigenous cultures.
  • Experience the lively Mercado de San Juan, a bustling marketplace filled with fresh produce and local handicrafts.
  • After dinner, return to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

DAY 4: DEPARTURE FROM IQUITOS

  • Following breakfast, we check out from the hotel.
  • Depending on your departure time, enjoy some free time for last-minute souvenir shopping.
  • We then transfer to FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta International Airport for your departure.

  • Please be aware that our accommodation and excursions are subject to change based on factors such as weather conditions, seasonal variations affecting river water levels, and the need to protect the natural habitat.

  • Per Adult on Twin Sharing Basis – $1,699 + 8.8% Tax
  • Single Room – +$450

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • A non-refundable registration deposit of USD 299 is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures advanced reservations for services such as hotels, air travel, and ground transportation.
  • 60 days before departure: Full refund (except registration deposit)
  • 59-40 days before departure: 75% of the tour cost will be charged
  • 40-0 days before departure: 100% of the tour cost will be charged

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • A Passenger below 12 years is considered a child and above 12 years as an adult.
  • Check-in time in hotels is 1400 hours, and check-out is 1200 hours.
  • The booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • There are coach restrictions in some cities; the tour manager and driver will do their best to drop you as close to monuments as possible.
  • No refund will be given for expenses due to flight cancellations, airport closures, delays, accidents, bad weather, natural calamities, visa rejections, etc.
  • The company reserves the right to postpone or cancel any advertised tours without assigning any reason. In such cases, the full amount paid will be refunded, but no compensation claims will be entertained.
  • The company reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances. No refunds or compensation will be entertained for such changes.
  • Single travelers will share rooms on a twin or triple-sharing basis. If no other solo traveler is available to share, a single supplement will be charged.
  • The tour cost is based on rates prevailing at the time of quotation. The company reserves the right to adjust tariffs if rates change before departure.
  • Hotel accommodations are generally twin-sharing in standard rooms. The third bed in triple occupancy rooms is often a roll-away mattress.
  • The company is not responsible for delays or service deficiencies from third-party providers (hotels, airlines, local transport, etc.).
  • Any damage caused to hotel rooms or coaches during your stay shall be payable by the passenger.
  • There are no refunds for unused services such as meals, sightseeing, or flight delays/cancellations.
  • Visa fees are charged at the prevailing rates when documents are submitted to the embassy or consulate. The company is not responsible for visa rejections or delays.
  • All prices quoted in the package are in United States Dollars.
  • Customers must read and accept the terms and conditions before making the advance payment.
